What is heat?
Heat is a brand’s essence — the quality that makes it culturally resonant and commercially compelling.
Praktis is a strategic brand development studio based in Trinidad and Tobago, led by internationally recognised designers Blayne Clark and Marlon Darbeau.
We help ambitious organisations uncover what makes them matter, then shape it into brand systems that perform. Our work has been presented at conferences from New York to Johannesburg and featured in international design press, including Design Week UK’s International Shortlist, Core77, and Brand New.
We bring internationally grounded thinking to Caribbean brands, building identities that are culturally resonant, commercially compelling, and built to endure.
Our work spans identity systems, verbal strategy, and campaign development. Each project is approached as a system, not an output, ensuring consistency across every expression of the brand.
We work with organisations across scale, from emerging cultural platforms to established regional institutions, with a consistent intent: to bring clarity to what a brand is, and how it should move in the world.
